Address of Worthy Vice Chancellor to Alumni of Mining Engineering Department, UET Lahore.

Lahore ( ) Pakistan is enriched with mines and minerals that need to explore and utilize these wealthy resources for the betterment and development of the country. It was spoken by Vice Chancellor University of Engineering and Technology Lahore while addressing to Alumni of Department of Mining Engineering UET at the campus. The program was arranged by chairman Dr. Zulfiqar Ali. Vice Chancellor expressed that need to engineer a vivid mining policy by taking all stakeholders into confidence to get benefit from the reservoirs of Pakistan. In this regard, UET Mining Alumni are serving in different national and international organizations. He urged youth that they must follow their seniors and get knowledge for their experience to develop real technological minds of engineering operations. He also talked to Ex-UETians that give suggestions to UET to induce comprehensive changes and upgradation in departments to meet the challenges with great confidence. At the end, Chairman Department of Mining Engineering Dr. Zulfiqar Ali added that Mining Department of UET has been producing engineers for national and international markets for many decades. We are also adopting progressive changes for the flourishment of the department. This sort of gathering will remain continued in future also. In ceremony many Ex-students including MD PMDC Brig (R) Muhammad Khalid Sajjad Khokar, Chairman PMOA Engr. Khalid Pervez, FWO; Brig. Shafqat Sherazi, Engr. Irshad Ali, Engr. Fahim-ud-Din and faculty along with a big number of present students were present.
